Create something handmade for your Valentine. Let's get started:
1. Gather your supplies. You will need: watercolour paper, watercolour paint, scissors, a pencil, black fineliner, white paint marker, painters or artist tape.
2. Start by creating a wash of any colour on your paper. Then gently dab out an area in the middle, but don't remove too much paint, that's were you'll glue your balloon cut outs.
3. Next draw your balloon shapes on another piece of watercolour paper with the pencil, paint watercolour over the shapes (you don't have to stay in the lines as you'll cut these out).
4. Outline the balloon shapes with the black fineliner, and add highlights with the white paint marker. Cut out your shapes and glue onto your background.
5. Add your Valentine's day message to your card and you're done!
