I wanted to try this surface and see how it reacted to watercolour. I sell my paintings and a lot of clients do not like having a glass to protect the watercolour painting. This surface is easy to paint on; it reacted quite well to my style of painting and it was easy to varnish. I applied three coats of spray varnish for watercolour, then once this has dried completely, I varnish with liquid varnish, which I applied by brush. I am very satisfied with the result. I have sold the first paintings that I did using these panels. So my clients must like it too!
