I'm a 26 y/o mixed-media artist, digital artist, and architect from Ontario. I am passionate about the potential for the visual arts to defamiliarize and reinterpret the mundane; to isolate a subject from its common place in the world, inspiring the opportunity to rediscover its innate glory and beauty. My paintings are inspired by the creatures of nature. My aesthetic straddles the boundary between the formed and the formless, composed portrayals melting into a symphony of dynamic brushstrokes and instinctive marks of vivid colour, aiming to convey a sense of that which exceeds the static picture plane: motion and emotion, spirit and character.
